About

RaiseCalc provides free, easy-to-use salary and percentage calculators. Calculations run in your browser; the website does not require an account or send your entered salary values to a calculation server.

Results are estimates and should not replace payroll records, employment agreements, or professional advice.

What RaiseCalc does

RaiseCalc helps people compare pay before and after a raise, work out percentages between numbers, and explore possible future salary paths using assumptions they choose. Each tool runs calculations directly in the browser without requiring an account.

Calculation methodology

Units and assumptions

Our pay-period breakdown uses 12 monthly, 24 twice-monthly, 26 biweekly, and 52 weekly periods each year. Hourly annual pay depends on the working hours and weeks you provide. Future salary growth is an illustration, not a prediction. We show gross pay, not take-home pay, taxes, employer benefits, or legal payroll determinations.

Precision and rounding

Calculations preserve decimal input internally without rounding annual salary to cents at each projected year. Currency is displayed to two decimal places and general percentage-tool numbers to at most six decimal places. Displayed rows may not sum exactly because they are rounded individually. Inputs and results have supported range limits; invalid scenarios show an error instead of a projection.

Calculation notes updated . RaiseCalc maintains these tools and their explanations; no professional payroll certification or external endorsement is claimed.
